Rachye Kàra Gûchya (/ˈrace/ /ˈkəra/ [distinct; apparent] [door]) is a temperate Large City located in the Temmī̄f Principality of the Lallalo.
The name Rachye Kàra Gûchya is derived from the Sylvin language, as Rachye Kàra Gûchya was founded by Lewys, who was culturaly Rattu.
Climate
Rachye Kàra Gûchya has a yearly average temperature of 4°C (39°F), with its average temperature during the summer being an icy 22°C (71°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool -13°C (9°F). Rachye Kàra Gûchya receives an average of 90 cm/y (35 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Rachye Kàra Gûchya covers an area of nearly 217 km2 (86 mi2), and an average elevation of 7436 m (-18553 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Rachye Kàra Gûchya was founded durring the late 13th century in spring of the year 1175, by Lewys. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Lewys.
Rachye Kàra Gûchya was built using the conventions of Rattu durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Rachye Kàra Gûchya is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Rachye Kàra Gûchya is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt packed earth streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city is the proud owner of a proper castle-style stone wall complete with all of the trimmings. It has towers, a moat, gatehouses, drawbridges, and even merticulationsshortsizeleadershipname.. The city's perhapse unnessisarily well built defences are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the citys defences.
The city shows nothing out of the ordinary, at first glance. Then you start to notice all the small things. Each window has seven iron nails pounded into the sill. Every door has a sprig of holly overhead. Every well is branded with purity seals and runes to ward the contents. Everyone is carrying a small charm for safety or fortune, be it a rabbit’s foot, a horseshoe, or other little totems.

Cultural Notes
Rachye Kàra Gûchya's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.

The Living Topiary near Rachye Kàra Gûchya are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Rachye Kàra Gûchya was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Rachye Kàra Gûchya lost 103 people, 364 livestock, and 72 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 169, when members of Rachye Kàra Gûchya's militia enacted an operation to escort a specific hero to a safe location. The operation was complicated by a natural disaster interrupted the operation, shattering unit cohesion. The conflict ended with an assault and siege on the mine, which ended in a crushing defeat for Rachye Kàra Gûchya's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Rachye Kàra Gûchya's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
